Delivery Information

Orders will be processed and posted via Australia Post within two business days of receipt of payment. This may be longer for customised items which will be stated in the product description.


We love the craft and cafe products we stock, and want you to feel the same way about your purchase. If you change your mind or are not happy with your product for any reason, you are free to return your product for refund or exchange provided that the product:

  • Is returned within 7 days of purchase;
  • Is unused and in its original condition; and
  • Is returned by Registered Mail with all original packaging and proof of purchase from A Good Place to Start.

If the product came with a free gift, that gift must be returned with the purchase or the value of the gift will be deducted from your refund/exchange voucher.

In the case of cosmetic products, no opened or used products qualify for returns/refunds unless there is a manufacturing fault.

Please fill out the online returns form for a Return Merchandise Authorisation before returning your order or part thereof.

Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.

Change of Mind

Refunds or Exchange Vouchers will be issued for your purchase price less postage and a 10% restocking fee. In the case of Change of Mind Returns, postage will be at the expense of the customer.

Faulty Goods or Delivery Errors

We will provide you with an exchange voucher, full refund or item repair or replacement including reimbursement of return postage costs where:

  • The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality;
  • The incorrect item is delivered;
  • The product does not match our description and images. Please note that due to natural products being used, there may slight colour variations in the product;
  • You can present proof of purchase from A Good Place to Start.

Where possible and practical we will endeavour to replace items like for like, or have them repaired and returned at no charge to you. If this is not possible or practical we will issue a full refund or exchange voucher based upon your preference. We reserve the right to assess the condition and age of the returned goods prior to a returns agreement. We will not offer an exchange voucher, refund, repair or replacement where we deem the item fault to be the result of misuse or neglect.

In the case of faulty goods and incorrect orders we request that the products be returned via Registered Mail with the postage receipt for reimbursement. No responsibility will be taken by A Good Place to Start for goods lost in transit that are not sent by Australia Post Registered Mail.
